Honduras Opal - 16,30ct
This is a very rare natural stone mined in Honduras with a black matrix with blue, green and red opal inclusions. These opals are mainly formed during volcanic eruptions in South America.
The stone was carbonized by me. This gives the stone a dark base so that the opal inclusions can come into their own. The carbonization is permanent. Due to the porous surface of the stone, this type of opal is very difficult to polish.
The stone was PHOTOGRAPHED AND FILMED IN DRY CONDITION
